In this four-part series, we're discussing what to wear for your boudoir session. You can be as conservative or bold as you want. You'll look amazing with a full robe on, a two-piece outfit or nothing at all. That's what camera angles and lighting is all about. Here are two more ideas of what to wear.

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

Have fun with your outfit choices and jewelry. (yes, don’t forget jewelry, more on that in a minute). You can choose bright colors and even be super wild by wearing mismatched bra and panties. Wear your favorite pair of cowgirl boots and cowgirl hat or if you think your partner would love you in a nurse’s outfit – go for it! Try out something totally off the wall and fun! It can make for a fun and creative photo.

When it comes to jewelry, consider the normal jewelry you would typically wear, but also consider body jewelry. At Photographs and Impressions, we have several pieces of body jewelry for your session. The photos in this post show examples.

IN THE CLOSET

Look through your closet for a see through or lace blouse, a soft sweater you can pull off your shoulders, a vest or sleeveless sweater. Any unique or cropped tops can be cute with panties too. If you have a partner, have them add something to your closet. Tell them you want to wear a new outfit for them and they get to pick.
