At Photographs and Impressions, we believe that our time and talent holds the same value for a studio session as it does a special event, like a wedding. Our portrait costs are based on session time, and our real estate cost is based on square footage.

Portrait Packages & Individual Headshots

Our packages are designed for the most common uses of your memories. Wether you want huge enlargements for that big empty wall, wish to print up to an 8 x 10 at home, or want to share digital images, we have you covered. With all packages, you have the choice to purchase whichever prints or enlargements that you need without wasting your money on pre-set print packages that you may or may not want. For portraits in a one-hour session, you'll receive between 25 and 40 final images. For individual headshots, we'll enhance (post-process) the best 5 photos so the pricing is the same as the Pick 5 Digital Package. For all packages, add $130.00 for up to 5 drone photos.

WARNING: Be cautious when shopping for a photographer. Some offer packages that start at $50.00. Research others' reviews. On average, clients are actually paying between $600 and $800 for a one-hour session with poor results.

Which package should I choose?

I will not print my photos. I just want digital photos for myself, professional headshots or to share on Social Media. I won't need many poses from the session;

Go with the Pick 5 Digital. There's no need to pay for all the post processing for an hour photo session when you only need digital copies of a few poses to choose from.

I'm doing a boudoir session or family portraits and won't be printing many photos at home, if any, but I want good quality photos and I want to see all the poses.

You'll want to choose the Standard Package. We'll post process all of your poses for you. If you choose to print a couple poses, the digital images can be printed at home up to 4 x 6 without paying another penny. If there's a pose you like a lot and would like to print bigger than 4 x 6, you can still order up to poster-sized prints from our web site for an additional charge or buy a larger digital image to be printed at any print center of your choice.

I'm want the highest quality digital photos from the session. I understand I will be charged for any prints I order on this web site or a printer of my choice, but I want to be able to download the full resolution images from your site for free so I have the freedom to do what I want with them any time in the future.

You need the full package, which includes post processing of all images and you can download them at full resolution to do with what you want. Prints from our site or prints from a printer of your choice will be an additional charge.

How many hours should I plan for?

Most portrait sessions can be done in one hour. If you want multiple shooting locations, you'll want to incorporate travel time between locations into your price. Another reason a session would be more than an hour is if you want many poses, or when special effects are used, such as a fog machine, dry ice or extensive props. For those examples, plan for a minimum of two hours and a maximum of three. Any more than three hours in a photo session is exhausting for the individual subject, or family. For events and gatherings, consider the schedule. If you have a three-hour gathering with different activities throughout, plan on the photographer to be on site for all three hours.
